Since the roads were not bad Ray took me for a drive towards the mountains Sunday afternoon so we can see all the snow and I can take some pictures!! It was absolutely beautiful! The mountains were so blue. My favorite part was when Ray stopped to let me take pictures of some horses in a field. Two horses came up and were posing for me ;) and they let us feed them some snow. Ray said they even nibbled on his fingers a bit haha. Here are some of my favorite shots.
My mom and her husband Nigel live in Charleston, so this year like last Cliff, April, Drew, Jacob, Ray and myself met them in Columbia at Cracker Barrel to eat some good southern food and have presents. We had such a good time!! It was cold and rainy but we were right by the fire place.
I got: Garden flags, dinner plates, a welcome mat, The Prayer of Jabez book and CANDY (yummo)!! She out did herself as usual.
My brother David has just finished up his 8 years in the Navy and is coming home!!!!!!!! I am so super stoked about this because he has been all over the world and now he gets to be in the good ole great state of South Carolina!!! Right now he is making his way to us from Seattle Washington...talk about a road trip! He will be making some stops along the way and is in California today. He promised he will be home for Christmas. :) Please pray for his safety as he is traveling. Can't wait to see you Davy Boy!!!
So after much ragging to my sweet Sis-in-Law Kristi how she needs to update her blog I thought ummm...maybe I can give it a try? Really? ME? So here goes nothing.... Let's talk wedding anniversary shall we? So Ray and I celebrate out 1 year anniversary back in October. Is it terrible that we still have the top part of our wedding cake in the freezer? Is that bad luck? Oh well.... We went on a cruise to celebrate our anniversary. It was our very first cruise. We had a great time. We left out of Charleston and went to Key West Florida, Free Port Bahamas, and Nassau Bahamas. My favorite part of the whole trip was sitting out on the side decks eating supper with Ray and watching the sunset. Ahhh....how I wish I was there now instead of the bitter cold weather. Here are some of my favorite pictures I took along our journey.
